Uno Minda partnered with Atypical Advantage, along with Next Bharat Ventures (an
initiative of Suzuki Motor Corporation)
At Uno Minda, we see inclusion not as an act of benevolence, but as a driver of performance
and long-term sustainability. True industry leadership comes from building ecosystems that
are both efficient and equitable.
In line with our ESG roadmap and Business Responsibility vision, we have partnered with
Atypical Advantage, along with Next Bharat Ventures (an initiative of Suzuki Motor
Corporation) — a platform nurturing Impact Entrepreneurs who are driving change for the
Next Billion.
Together, we are piloting five high-impact initiatives for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs):
• Inclusive Hiring: Onboarding 50 PwDs across our factories.
• Education: English & digital literacy for 100 children with hearing and visual impairments at
The Suman Nirmal Minda School, Hosur.
• Employability Skills: Training 40 women with hearing impairments for manufacturing &
service roles.
• Technical Training: Industry-aligned ITI programs for 25 PwDs.
• Workforce Sensitisation: Building awareness among 20,000+ employees nationwide.
A study by Atypical Advantage shows that the efficiency and accuracy of PwDs working on
production lines often surpass their peers. This reinforces what we already believe — that
inclusion enhances competitiveness, strengthens culture, and creates measurable impact.
This collaboration is about reshaping mindsets, celebrating diversity, and building a stronger
industrial ecosystem. We hope it sets a benchmark for others to follow in making inclusion a
strategic advantage for India’s growth story.
