Mr. Nirmal K. Minda Executive Chairman

An industrialist with rich business experience of more than four decades in the Auto Components Sector, he has been instrumental in forging new alliances and joint venture partnership with globally renowned names. Over the past four decades, he has been leading the Uno Minda Group with various accolades to his name. The Group grew manifold under his dynamic leadership, established footprints globally and received numerous awards and recognitions. He has held many offices in bodies like CII as Vice Chairman, Haryana State Council & Special Invitee, Northern Regional Council. He also served as the Chairman of ACMA, Northern Region for three consecutive years, followed by Vice President for 2016-17 President of ACMA for the year 2017-18. He has been conferred with 'EY Entrepreneur of the Year' Award in Manufacturing Category in 2019.

Mr. Ravi Mehra Managing Director

Mr. Ravi Mehra is a visionary and ambitious leader, known for his transformative leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence. With over 30 years of automotive industry experience, he possesses a unique blend of strategic acumen, operational excellence and believes in fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and empowerment. Mr. Mehra has consistently demonstrated the ability to navigate complex challenges, envision the future and devise long-term strategies to achieve sustainable growth. He has been instrumental in formulating and driving the manufacturing strategy to meet global standards of quality and delivery. Under his leadership, 2W/3W switch business expanded its global footprint across multiple countries, besides being leader in India. He sets audacious yet achievable goals and motivates teams to think beyond the status quo. Mr. Ravi Mehra, a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has handled many prominent roles in strategy, finance, marketing, manufacturing, materials, HR, and product & technology development. Mr. Mehra’s association with Uno Minda dates back to 1995, when he joined the Group as General Manager (Finance). Prior to Uno Minda, Mr. Mehra has had stints with various reputed organizations like Kelvinator, Pure Drinks Group etc.

Mr. Vivek Jindal Whole time Director and CEO – Lighting and Alternate fuel Systems Domain

Mr. Vivek Jindal is a Whole Time Director of Uno Minda Limited, Director of Minda Westport Technologies Ltd and Minda Onkyo India (P) Limited. He is also Director of Clarton Horns Spain and Mexico and successfully led the merger and acquisition of Spanish entity into Uno Minda folds. He is also leading EV/HV initiatives for Uno Minda Group. An experienced professional with 19 years in the automotive Industry, Mr. Jindal completed his engineering from IIT Delhi, MBA from Katz Graduate School of Business (University of Pittsburgh - USA) and Executive MBA program from Harvard Business School. He is also member of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO)- Delhi Chapter, Regional Chairperson- Northern Region of ACMA and Member of CII Haryana State Council. Before joining Minda Group, he had worked in Infosys Technologies and India Bulls. Mr. Jindal is an avid reader, health enthusiast and passionate singer.

Ms. Paridhi MindaNon-Executive Director

Ms. Paridhi Minda brings valuable experience from her long-standing association with the Uno Minda Group since 2001. She holds a management degree from Bradford University and a certification from the London School of Economics, complemented by training at Institut Villa Pierrefeu, Switzerland. Over the years, she has played a significant role in strategic planning, corporate governance, and leadership development within the group.

Ms. Pallak MindaNon-Executive Director

Ms. Pallak Minda is a graduate in Entrepreneurship from Delhi University and has completed a Master’s Programme for Entrepreneurs and Family Businesses (MPEFB) from IIM Bangalore. With extensive experience in business operations and expansion strategies, she has been instrumental in driving innovation and operational efficiencies within the Uno Minda Group. She has a keen interest in fostering an entrepreneurial culture and has actively contributed to the company's diversification initiatives.

Mrs. Rashmi Urdhwareshe Independent Director

Mrs. Rashmi Urdhwareshe retired as Director ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India, Pune) in June 2020. Having started her career as Trainee Engineer, Mrs. Urdhwareshe rose through the ranks to take the coveted position as Director of ARAI in year 2014. ARAI is the prestigious autonomous R&D and Homologation Institute located in Pune. During her illustrious tenure as Director, ARAI scaled new heights in technology, business excellence and R&D. Under her leadership Center of Excellence in E-Mobility, Homologation and Technology Centre and several key facilities were created to provide dedicated services to the automotive and other engineering sectors at national and international level.

Mrs. Urdhwareshe has a distinguished academic and professional career. She holds master's degree in E&TC and several other professional qualifications such as Diploma in Corporate Directorship (from WCCG), Six Sigma Black Belt (from ASQ), etc. Her 40+ years of industrial experience and expertise includes wide range of subjects in automotive domain (like vehicular safety, Air quality and exhaust measurements, Standards/ Regulations, R&D and technology, E mobility, Alternate fuels and green technologies, Quality Systems and Business Excellence, etc.)

Mrs. Urdhwareshe has served as the Chair / Vice Chair of various national/ international bodies and contributed greatly to developing automotive safety, emission and fuel efficiency standards under CMVR. She has also been an integral part of Indian delegations and led the technical deliberations from Indian side at UN-ECE WP.29 at Geneva in for about 15 years (1996 to 2020).

• • Chair- Transport Engineering Division Council (TEDC), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), New Delhi (Year 2015-20).
• • Chair- AISC (Automotive Industry Standards Committee), which formulates Safety Standards in India during her tenure as Director-ARAI (Year 2014 to 2020)
• • Vice Chair of Working Party on Pollution and Energy (GRPE) at the Global Forum under UN-ECE at Geneva during period 2014-2017.

She is the immediate Past President of SAE India (Society of Automobile Engineers). She is also Senior Advisor to Pune Knowledge Cluster (PKC), which is set up under the directions of Principal Scientific Advisor, Government of India. With huge experience and wide expertise, Mrs. Rashmi has also taken up Advisory and Mentorship roles for Corporates, Educational/ Research programs and Government Agencies. She is Independent Director on the board of automotive companies.

Mrs. Urdhwareshe is Co-author of Book on Total Quality Management. She has independently authored book “Women and Workplaces” She is a recipient of several awards in the areas of women Empowerment, Corporate Leadership, Engineering Excellence, E-mobility, Business Excellence, Economic Development, Quality Excellence and many more. For her lifetime contributions towards development of Automotive Technology, she is honored with Nari Shakti Puraskar 2019, at the hands of Hon'ble President of India on 8th March 2020.

Dr. SANDHYA SHEKHAR Independent Director

Dr. Sandhya Shekhar is an accomplished advisor and strategy consultant, working across industry, academia, and the innovation ecosystem. She specializes in business strategy, digital transformation, innovation, sustainability, and corporate governance. Sandhya has served on numerous expert committees, including BIRAC and Bionest, advising on bio-tech incubators and innovation ecosystems. She has also served on the IT Advisory Council for SBI's digital transformation.

She is an independent director on the boards of Simpson & Co. Ltd. and IP Rings Ltd., with prior roles on the boards of Amco Batteries and Bimetal Bearings Ltd. As a guest faculty at IIT Madras and other institutions, she teaches a wide range of courses, including leadership and business strategy. She is a member of advisory boards such as SOIL Institute of Management.

With over three decades of experience, Sandhya was the founding CEO of IIT Madras Research Park, helping scale the innovation ecosystem in India. Her previous roles include Director at Gartner Inc., CTO of BConnectB.com, and Head of Knowledge Management Research at Aptech. She holds a PhD from IIT Madras and an MBA from IIM Bangalore and has received numerous awards for her contributions to the industry and academia. An accomplished speaker and author, her work on virtual organizations has gained global recognition.

Mr. Rajiv Batra Independent Director

Mr. Rajiv Batra is Chartered Accountant from ICAI and Economics Honors graduate from Shriram College of Commerce Delhi. He is a seasoned professional with over four decades of experience in Finance and Accounting across India and US. He is a passionate business Leader helping businesses them with their plans to scale up, guiding them with strategic business inputs, as well as providing them with timely interventions and support, including cost effective sources of funding.

Earlier, Rajiv has worked with Xerox for 15 years. He was one of first founding employees of the finance function at Xerox in India rose to Chief Financial officer. He subsequently moved to Xerox Inc. based at Stamford Connecticut USA - as Head for Controls across Developing Markets and in less than 18 months moved as CFO for the Developing markets. He has also worked with Digital Equipment India Limited, a subsidiary of US $12 Billion listed Corporation and Cummins India Ltd as CFO leading their finance function and instrumental in financial turnaround as well as business restructuring. During his tenure, Rajiv got inevitable varied exposures in all facets of Finance, Treasury, Planning and Analysis, Control, Audit and Governance including interacting with the Independent Directors of the listed venture.

Mr. Shekar ViswanathanIndependent Director

Mr. Viswanathan brings over four decades of diverse experience, having retired as Vice Chairman and Whole-time Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motors Private Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Madras and is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Mr. Abhay DamleIndependent Director

Mr. Damle, a former Indian Revenue Service officer from the 1989 batch, has served in various key government positions. He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from NIT Bhopal. He has also worked as Joint Secretary at MoRTH, as Director of the Central Institute of Road Transport, Pune, and in various roles within the Income Tax Department

Mr. Randhir Singh KalsiIndependent Director

Mr. Randhir Singh Kalsi is an Independent Director at Uno Minda and a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Delhi College of Engineering, class of 1981. With over four decades of experience in the Indian automotive industry, he is celebrated as a visionary leader and entrepreneurial innovator.

Mr. Kalsi began his career at TELCO (now Tata Motors) before joining Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) in 1984. Over 40 years, he held key strategic and operational leadership roles, driving initiatives that transformed MSIL into a market leader. His pioneering contributions include Maruti Insurance, Maruti Finance, True Value, Maruti Driving Schools, Commercial Vehicles, and the creation of NEXA, a premium retail channel that redefined auto retailing in India.

He has also chaired ASSOCHAM’s National Council on Auto and Auto Ancillaries and IDTR Raipur, earning multiple accolades for marketing and leadership. His expertise spans leadership, innovation, business strategy, and digital transformation.
