Founded in 2005, Minda Industries Limited - Electronics Division is a leading Auto Electronic Components manufacturer. Developing avant-garde electronics products for two, three, four wheeler and off-road vehicles, the division aims to be a leading Electronic components manufacturer by 2015, fabricating reliable, cost-effective and innovative products benchmarked globally at par with contemporaries.
The Division operates from Pune, supplying to most OEM customers like Mahindra, Royal Enfield, Tata, Bajaj, General Motors, Ashok Leyland, Piaggio etc.
The division produces the widest range of 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler Electronics components and meets customers' high quality & performance standards. It was a pioneer in developing the Start-Stop sensors, indigenously in collaboration with M&M
The division has also developed Contact and Non-contact type Speed Sensors for two and four wheeler applications and a range of innovative product lines like HID Balast, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), EAPM (Electronic Accelerator Pedal Module), DC-DC Converter and other position and magnetic sensors benchmarked at par with world's best auto component brands.
The division's fully integrated manufacturing facility includes an ultramodern 170K CPM capacity SMT line with a class 100K clean room, ESD safe flooring, HVAC - to control temperature and humidity, Environmental testing, Vibration testing, Megger testing, Transient testing and In-house testing and validation set-ups for all product lines.
The division has product lines dedicated to different OEMs. Processes like poke-yoke have been deployed to ensure that defect-free products are manufactured at the first go. It also has fully integrated and certified in-house testing and validation set up; and complete environment, performance and reliability testing for all product lines.
With quality certifications like ISO 14001, BS OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO/TS 16949:2009, ISO/TEC 17025, Minda Industries Limited - Electronics Division is serving end markets in India, US, Europe, Japan and Brazil.
